Why We Roll Up Our Sleeves
Charity is not measured by how loudly it is announced, but by how quietly it changes lives.
Long before MMAB Foundation had a name, compassion already had a home. It lived in the everyday generosity of Hon. Justice Moses Abu Bello, OFR, KSG, whose life was devoted to justice beyond the courtroom, and in the quiet, unwavering service of Mary Oyine Bello, who has spent years restoring hope through boreholes, school fees, hospital bills, prison outreach, food support, and care for those most people never see.
Today, MMAB Foundation carries that legacy forward. We honour the past not by preserving memories alone, but by building futures. Every classroom restored, every child supported, every family strengthened, and every community reached is another chapter in a story that continues.
Charity should never be driven by guilt or reduced to a fashionable buzzword. It should be rooted in compassion, guided by integrity, and focused on meeting real needs through people who genuinely care.
Our approach is simple. We listen first, act with purpose, and remain accountable every step of the way. Because when generosity becomes a way of life rather than a box to tick, its impact reaches far beyond a single moment and leaves a legacy that endures.

CHILDREN DESERVE SAFETY TOO INITIATIVE
A Snake Bite. A Child’s Fear. A Promise That No Child Should Have to Face It Again.
For most children, school is where dreams begin.
It is where they learn to read, make friends, discover who they are, and begin building the futures they hope for.
It should also be one of the safest places they know.
But for one young schoolgirl, an ordinary school day became something she would never forget.
When she needed to use the toilet, there wasn’t one.
Like many children in underserved communities, she had no choice but to leave her classroom and walk into nearby bushes.
There, she was bitten by a snake.
No child should ever have to risk their life simply to meet one of life’s most basic needs.
Some stories leave you saddened.
Others leave you unable to look away.
This was one of them.
It became the spark behind Children Deserve Safety Too, MMAB Foundation’s commitment to creating safer, healthier, and more dignified learning environments for children.
What began with one child’s frightening experience has now become a promise to countless others.
Today, Phase I and Phase II have been completed at Eyindudu and Agassa Primary and Secondary School, providing safe toilet facilities that allow pupils to focus on learning instead of worrying about dangers that should never exist in the first place.
Because every child deserves more than an education.
Every child deserves to feel safe while receiving one.

EDUCATION
We believe that no child’s education should end because opportunity runs out.
Through scholarships, school fee support, examination sponsorships, learning materials, and educational assistance, MMAB Foundation helps students continue their education with confidence and hope.
Inspired by the lifelong commitment of Hon. Justice Moses Abu Bello, OFR, KSG to education and community development, we continue investing in the greatest resource any nation possesses: its people.
Every child educated today becomes another leader, teacher, innovator, or caregiver tomorrow.
Support a Student
Give today, a life could depend on it.
COMMUNITY CARE
Compassion should never be occasional.
It should become a way of life.
MMAB Foundation supports vulnerable families through food assistance, healthcare support, borehole projects, clothing donations, prison outreach, care for widows, and emergency intervention.
Every act of kindness, however small it may seem, restores dignity and reminds someone they are not alone.
